Once there was a hunter in a village. He had a pet mongoose. The mongoose was very faithful and brave. The hunter loved it very much.
The hunter had a baby son. One day the hunter had to go out of his house. He left his baby son and the mongoose in the house. He thought that the mongoose would take care of the baby.
After some time a snake came there. The snake rushed to bite the baby. The mongoose saw the snake. It put up a brave fight with the snake and at last killed it.
Now its paws and mouth were stained with blood.
The hunter returned home in the evening. He saw the pet mongoose at the gate. Seeing its mouth and paws stained with blood, he thought, it had killed his baby.
The hunter was very angry. He killed the mongoose with a piece of stone.
The hunter went inside. He found the baby safe. He saw a dead snake beside the baby.
The hunter realised his mistake. He repented, but it was too late.
That’s why we should never do any work in a hurry. A hasty decision can be harmful.
Haste is Waste Story
एक बार एक गाँव में एक शिकारी रहता था। उनके पास एक पालतू नेवला था। नेवला बहुत ही वफादार और बहादुर था। शिकारी उसे बहुत प्यार करता था।
शिकारी के एक छोटा बच्चा था। एक दिन शिकारी को घर से बाहर जाना पड़ा। उसने अपने छोटे बच्चे व नेवले को घर पर छोड़ दिया। उसने सोचा कि नेवला उसकी देख-रेख करेगा।
कुछ समय बाद वहाँ एक साँप आया। साँप छोटे बच्चे को काटने दौड़ा। नेवले ने साँप को देखा। उसने साँप के साथ बहादुरी से लड़ाई की और अन्त में साँप को मार दिया। अब उसके पंजे व मुँह खून से सने थे।
शाम को शिकारी घर लौटा। उसने नेवले को दरवाजे पर देखा। उसके पंजे व मुँह खून से सने हुए देखकर शिकारी ने सोचा कि इसने बच्चे को मार दिया है।
शिकारी को बहुत गुस्सा आया। उसने पत्थर से नेवले को मार दिया।
शिकारी अन्दर गया। उसने बच्चे को सुरक्षित पाया। उसने बच्चे के पास एक मृत साँप देखा।
शिकारी ने अपनी गलती को जाना। वह पछताया परन्तु अब देर हो चुकी थी।
इसलिए हमे कभी भी जल्दबाजी में कोई भी काम नहीं करना चाहिए। जल्दबाजी में लिया गया निर्णय हानिकारक हो सकता है।
